Hey there!! So tonight instead of my usual bantering about Fashion and the Celebs who wear Rockin' clothing I thought I would ask for your advice. I have a little secret.

Ok.. here goes.
I am Italian. And I am hairy. Yes... totally gross. I shave my legs every other day ( every day in the summer) and my armpits get shaved every morning in the shower.
I also wax my eyebrows myself ( I have a Cosmetology license so its silly to…

As I sit here and write this I am squinting. Not because I do not have
eyeglasses(because I do). It is because I have a mental block for some reason that makes me not want to wear them. Please tell me I am not the only one with this problem. I only recently had to get them about two years ago and they are just for reading. It started with the annoying headaches and the strain of my eyes. I figured what the heck it is time to get them.

Long time ago, many young women wear outrageously skimpy clothes during
prom nights and homecomings. As a result, many school administrations
have set the proper formal outfits that can be worn by young women in
school social gatherings. And beyond the new school rules, increasing
number of young women are discovering new trends of clothing without
showing lots of skin. They found out sites where they can get ideas in
creating and designing formal
evening…

So in my last post I took us back in memory lane to prom night. Oh and the memories of getting all dolled up and the shopping leading up to it but that was just prep work for THE day. You know(cue the wedding music) the day you start your "big people life".
How did you prepare? Did you wear a dress someone made for you?
Wedding dresses are so important that you have to make sure you have the right one but how do you ever really

As some of you know I recently went to a Mardi Gras ball that allowed me to get all fancy dancy in a beautiful evening gown. Let me tell you that was the most fun I had shopping in a very long time. There is nothing like putting on the perfect dress and playing Cinderella even if just for a night. So when was the last time you went shopping for an evening gown?
I see(virtually of course) you raising your hand saying,"Hello I have a teen". So I am guessing you will be shoppin

Wearing an evening dress is not complete without accessories, but you need to be careful when planning to accessorize your dress. So, the first thing you need to do is to evaluate your
outfit: Is it fancy, simple, or too elegant? Whatever kind of dress you
choose, make sure to match it with appropriate accessories. Here are
the following accessories you can wear with an evening dress:

OK OK... so I have a 10 year old. Most of you know that. What you may not know is that my ten year old is extremely brilliant though she is ADHD so she sometimes has major issues with focusing. She also is a very accomplished musician and con artist. She could sell just about anything.
Her fashion sense and style is severly lacking. Like BAD. She is a tom-boy at heart and though she has her "girlie" moments... she is mostly a jeans(ripped) and t-shirt kid. Ugh

This month we had to put our 12 year old dog, Reece, to rest. We had many people tell us how difficult this would be, but nothing could have prepared us for how hard it really was.
Reece was not just any dog. He was truly one of a kind. Right about the time I was graduati…

So its super funny because my 15 yr old daughter just came upstairs and asked to look through my shirts for a "long tee-shirt" to wear with some leggings to school tomorrow. And I got to thinking... I have long tee-shirts. And I wear leggings occasionally ( with long sweaters, that is.)
I am 36 yrs old. She is 15.
She is a size 5 jean... since I have lost weight I am a size 7 jean. She is a medium shirt, I am a large. (large breasts people... really suck!)
Anyway... she is also a 34 D wh…

Lately I have been working during the late hours of the night. You know the time where there is nothing on t.v. Flipping through the channels trying to find the best informercial that is on. Oh you know you have done the same thing. How do you think my friend got her Perfect Brownie(@thebudgebunch...ask her about it). The funny thing is I see something that I would totally get suckered into buying but by the next day I forgot the name or can't remember the number to call. Alas, a solution(other…

Now that we’ve passed the Winter Solstice and are wrapping up 2009, I’ve tried to put together a collection of my favorite“Best of 2009” series of Moomette’s Magnificents posts.
While I’m a mom, I’m also a grandmom, wife, sister, and friend. I try to identify myself as a multi-generational blogger, and my blogging friends and readers are many and as varied as grains of sand in time.
Although I write about work-at-home tips, product reviews and giveaways, I’m also a humorist. OK, make that a Ne…
