I started incorporating 2-3 meatless meals a week when I began menu planning.
At first it was to help with the budget, but soon we found several recipes that are plain good, and happen to be meatless.

In response to that, today's post is all about those cheaper meals, meals for a tight budget, and stretching them out. "Meal Stretchers", as KnitPurlGurl called them. ;)

It's not always difficult to find inexpensive meals to prepare. But in my opinion, there are always 2 issues that stand out: cheaper meals often mean sacrificing the nutrition, as well as cheaper meals often mean no meat.

With Memorial Day being the unofficial start to summer and grilling season, I find today being the perfect day to chat about the delicious smell of the grill.

Breathe it in....
Charcoal is being lit, the warm breeze swipes it enough to get the fire going.
The flames are the perfect orange-red shade that shouts out, "Yes! Bring on the food!".
