- Hi Chris, nice to get acquainted. I read your Bio and I am so sorry about your back pain. I had the flue and it caused great great back pain for about 6 months ... I can understand a bit of what you are going through. The doctor recommend Steroid injections for pain management but that did not sound like the answer for me - I went to a accupunture and had never been before but I was at the "no choice" phase ... After about 3 visits I could walk again and it took several months but now I am pain free and needless to say I have a new found belief and understanding of accupunture . It does not work for everything but it did work for the imflamation of the
soft tissue all down my spine. I do hope you find the answer to manage your pain.
