Hey Ya'll!

First off.. soooo sorry for being so out of commission.. things on our end have been crazy. We finally got "The Call" from the county (after waiting 5 months) and have the honor of fostering 4 1/2 year old twins (boy/girl). It's a fost/adopt situation but the case is still geared towards reunification with their mom.

We're spinning but in a wonderful way. :o)

Hubby and I are considering adopting a little girl (9 years oldish) from the foster care system. I adopted our oldest, who had a lot of emotional issues and special needs so I have experience dealing with any attachment issues that may exist. I was in foster care for almost 2 years as a kid so they hold a special place in my heart!

My hubby and I have been seriously discussing the idea of adopting a baby. Our Miracle baby was born just over 6 years ago, and we looked into the possibility of having another one, but after multitudes of tests about a year ago confirmed that one Miracle was all we were going to get...but it also made us appreciate how much of a Miracle she truly is! ;) We have, however, been talking about adopting to add to our cool family, so this group looks like a great place to be! :)
