Great question! For me it was easy... I love fashion that is classy and my life is pretty much chaotic with three kids. I paired CLASSY and CHAOS and started blogging the next day. It is so fun to read through everyone's reasonings.

I was in Nashville at Blissdom with Sugar Jones, PlusSizeMommy, and CraftyMomof4. I said something motherly and they started calling me MamaRucci. Between the three of them, they had everyone saying it (Sugar brought it back to the room-which got Jyl, Carissa, and Jessica saying it) We then were playing around with it being the name of my blog. When Sugar and I hit the town with Twincident and Shortpumppreppy, she got them going with it. In the airport on my way home, I received a phone call from Twincident and MommaDJane to meet them for coffee. When I met up with them, they informed me I HAD to start this blog. We then met up with Resourcefulmom who joined the bandwagon telling me I Had to. So what started as a joke, turned into a blog in a matter of two days. I also like the name because it was what Carissa and Courtney's friends called me and still do. Today I can thank them for http://MamaRucci.wordpress.com

It took me forever to come up with mine. I decided on Finding Me, because that's exactly what I'm trying to do. I'm working on becoming a great wife, mother, teacher, daughter, etc, but haven't quite made it to the ranks of Donna Reed or anything. While I'm not working full-time and am instead at home full-time I want to work at being the best homemaker I can be. I'm finding my way to becoming that. My blog is all about me finding my to becoming a great _____________. I'm not saying that I'll evenutally be great one day, but that I'll be the best that I can be which was my middle school's slogan in the early 90s...lol.

My sisters actually helped me name my blog. They are big fans of The Nanny Diaries, so they said, since my blog is gonna be about what I go through being a mom, just name it The Mommy Diaries.

The name was actually what was keeping me from starting my blog. It took me a long time with no luck thinking of a good name, until my sisters came.

Loving Heart Mommy came from a home daycare I used to run, I thought what would be a good name for a in-home daycare... well Loving Heart Mommy because I'm full of love, is that corny?

a couple of years ago I read an article in a parenting magazine that 'silly' was a bad word and that kids shouldn't call other kids that. I completely disagree. My girls and I love being silly since that is what being a kid is all about, hence the name Silly Mommy of 2 Silly Girls

I have about 10 pairs of black heels, among many other colors and styles of heels and my daughter (who is 1) LOVES getting into them and running around in them. She even accessorizes, it's so cute!
Anyway, she had a pair on one day and was running as fast as she could all over the house and I just blurted out "Slow down little hell in heels!" and now we have HellInHellsMommy!

Mine was easy... people always say I live in a crazy house... I often found myself with company over and I would just laugh and say.. welcome to the crazy house... hence... my life with the crazies!!!

A friend actually came up with the name for my blog and then I continued with the same name for my website: Over The Top Aprons ..... she said my aprons were "Over The Top" and it is obvious you put them on Over
The Top of your clothes .... So .... Over The Top Aprons was born.

Well my family is a huge lover of Dr. Seuss books. I nick-named my twins Thing One and Thing Two when they were in the womb and it sort of stuck. I bounced a lot of names around and ideas since our last name is Herring, tried to play on the "fish" theme but they were all pretty lame until I remembered a Dr. Seuss book Titled "One Fish, Two Fish, Three, Four, Five Fish" and since there are FIVE Herring's in our little family the name stuck and I love it. It's a mouth full, but fitting for our out of the ordinary crazy little family.
