Wacky zoo outfits!!

Happy Friday everyone!! I am on vacation this week and the weather here in Mass hasnt been very good!
Tomorrow we are hoping for some beach weather!
Monday we went to a local zoo and I just had to tell you all about the people I saw walking around there!
I dont have any fun or witty pics this week ( hubby said it would be rude to take a picture of them and post it, so I didnt but boy oh boy did I want to!)

Picture this:
Monday was about 80 degrees and fairly sunny here in Mass. The zoo is about 30 minutes from my house. Its a decent size zoo. Pretty much the standard zoo. Zebras, giraffes, monkeys, birds, elephants, you know... right?

All those animals, even in cages.... the zoo is NOT the place you wanna wear dress clothes. Even me.... fashionista diva... I wore Sketchers (brown plaid) shoes... ( still stylish but comfortable with my capri jeans and brown tank top)

I should also remind you all that I am a licensed hairdresser... so seeing funny hairdos also crack me up! ( and make me wanna grab my scissors!)

Anyhoo... on with the story!
As I was saying:
Picture this:

Young woman about 25 or 30... child in a stroller and muscle~bound hubby next to her. You know the type... he wears the cut off shirt showing off his muscles that are way too big for a shirt that tight...
Her: wearing.... get this... a short short short mini skirt in hot pink snake skin print. A white glitter tank top cropped at her belly ( that really shouldnt have been exposing that area) and Lime green stilletos.. I KID YOU NOT! I actually thought it was a costume of some kind but I kept seeing her all around the zoo.. how could I miss her... and I really think she thought a.) she looked good and b) she was supposed to wear that kind of outfit.

So if that wasnt enough.. I saw an original 80's outfit on a woman about my age (36)
If you dont remember these styles you obviously didnt live through the 80's:
Light washed jeans.. pegged
white bobby socks, folded over
white ( snow white and new) keds... .. remember those>>>

white short sleeve tee with the sleeves folded.
The worst was her hair! Long to her back... BUT.... big bangs styled high up and a banana clip holding back the sides..

So that was my fun so far this week! People watching at the zoo.
Seriously, I couldnt believe the amount of people there to step in poop and walk around the dusty zoo wearing suits and dress clothes.. skirts and blouses... heels or dress shoes.
I understand that some people not from our country might have different ideas of what constitutes fashion but arent there zoos in other countries? Dont people realize walking through the woods, staring into cages, pushing kids in strollers is not the place to wear your best outfits!
